This is a first for me of a Jacana in flight. Normally we see images of these guys walking across Lily Pads, so I was very happy to get him against a water BG, together with some Lily pads in the BG. Taken in the Pilanesberg National Park last Sunday.

very nice Stuart,nice light,good detail and FG,BG,thats one long bird.
Stuart don't think there is anything I would like to change this all looks very good to me, it's a wonder those great big feet don't make them back heavy in flight, well done catching this and thanks for giving us a look.

Stu you have posted some good images but wow this is the bee's knees. I know how tricky it is to get a shot of these birds in flight, you nailed it that is a terrific shot. The details and the light and the background are just idyllic.
Nice flight shot Stuart, showing part of the habitat. It is always good to have a first. I also had a few BIF first this winter.
Wonderful flight shot, with those great trailing feet. Can't quibble about the wing position when this is the only flight shot I've seen of this species. I'd be tickled pink.
