The Long-tailed Broadbill.
After doing trekking of 3000 feet, in heavy rains and then heavy fog, some how managed to get this beauty.

Excllent Image , Rahul.... with great colours and light, the details are great on the bird , the noise in the details is visible need one NR in the details also, the branch in the front of the bird is very distacting IMO.....

Awesome bird! I have never seen before. The image do have a few problems from my point of view. There is a bit too much of noise on the bird and the noise reduction/blur outside the bird and in the image overall makes the noise even more noticeable. I also agree that the branch running across the frame is very distracting.

I agree with the boys about the noise and the branch, but boy is this ever a beautiful species - you really brought out its colours well.
