I like the angle, details and ruffled plumage. I have never seen a white morph and always glad to see images of it.
Lovely shot Judy, wonderful light angle, well exposed with sharp detail. I like the BG very much but I would be tempted to crop out the top dark section. Very well done!
Great image Judy. Love the wind blown look.
Beautiful, Judy. Love the background which prefectly compliments the colors of the bird.
Breathtaking image Judy Lynn! fantastic detail! love the background! nice subtle colors!
Judy was this at Desoto ?
BG is just killer with this guy

The wind-blown feathers are terrific Judy! I would clone out the dark line in the LLC.
Oh man the windswept plumage is so cool!! There seems to be a small blotch around the very tip of the bill?
Superb image Judy! I love the wind blown feathers... Would love to see one of these guys in person sometime.

A beautiful image for all the reasons given, Judy, and the photo has a great 'balance'. I don't think I would crop off the top 'dark' section as it gives the some depth to the presentation.
Hi Lou and many thanks for your comments. This image was taken at Fort Desoto last Thursday. The white morph was active both Thursday and Friday. This one did not have the pretty breeding colors on his beak as they sometimes do though. But still a great looking bird.
Wonderful job Judy. Excellent exposure control and unique feathers makes this image for me. Excellent job.
Great pose Judy. Love the feathers blowing. I'm still working on mine.
Beautiful, Judy--I like everything about it. So well done-congrats!
