The male of this species is almost always in the spotlight, but not this time as this gorgeous hen came to steal the show for a few moments.
Canon 7D + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/3200s., f/8, ISO 800, natural light, handheld, small crop top and left, darkened the pupil and lightened the iris, removed a bluish cast on the back 1/3 of the body. Audio used to encourage the subject closer.
