Regardless how this looks, the Blue Grosbeak and Painted Bunting are not buddies. There was a lot of competition on the feeder and this was the only time they were close. Bunting's right foot almost lost to motion blur. A very cloudy day - probably too much flash and saturation for many. Tried to tone things down a bit but didn't like the results I was getting. CC Welcome.
I don't know where the picture went, Hope this works.

Gee - what a posting mess this has been. I do know how to spell friends (I think).

Hi David !!! Either way I like the image very much !!! Interesting interaction. Saturation wise might tone down the blue channel just a tad but do like the overall feel very much !!!

I have always been torn with feeders in the frame, so I don't know quit what to say about that aspect. It does have a nice chummy feel to it. Alfred makes a good point on the tones and saturation.

I've never seen either one of these birds so envy you to have them on your feeder! Such colors! (Yes, they look pretty saturated, might try Alfred's suggestion.) I'd probably have leveled the horizontal plane of the feeder. Would have been nice to have avoided including the feeder, but a cute moment to have recorded anyway!
