Wonderful, and somewhat unusual, look at this Gannet. Good exposure and I love the eye contact. Yes, I could imagine either a little off the top, or the bird moved higher in the frame.

Hi Jon,

Gannet looks great against the blue waters - good details in the blacks and the whites.

Like Stu and Bill, above, I could see the bird higher and "lefter" in the frame.

I'm looking forward to getting some Gannet images in Ireland in four weeks time! Can hardly wait!

Awfully fun pose and perfectly exposed. Love how the gannet pops against that dark background. I would move it a bit farther into the left top corner.

Hand held Canon 1DX Canon 500m f4 & 2xTC Auto ISO 1000 +0.67 1/2000 sec f8. There is a fine piece of something over the eye, I have removed it in subsequent images, I decided to leave this one purely for the sake of authenticity.
