Hi friends,
Actually this photo doesn't show flying action exactly. It's better to call it jump more than fly. This guy along with his other fellows which was about 300 Pratincoles, were feeding from mosquitos around Eshgh abad Pound. They just sit near water and grab mosquitos passing near them and this is a long jump to grab one.
Because of light angle the BG was a bit over exposed and I toned it down along with a low level of increasing saturation. There were some dark shadows on the BG that I omit them. This is about 50% crop.
Thanks for looking and suggestions. Attachment 151523

I like the dynamic pose and the inclusion of the habitat for this delicate specie. The light angle wasn't ideal here and the image shows a red cast. Heavy noise reduction and coarse sharpening has impacted the feather details

The off-angle lighting didn't help but this is a great dynamic pose from a lovely bird. Good low POV.

You're right Bill. I tried to reach a better angle, but I couldn't because of mud.:e3
Additionally regarding what Arash said about noise, you know with 7d in ISO 1000 which was inevitable because of needed shutter speed, you will have too much noise in shadows and no way but heavy noise reduction.
Thank you for your comment.
