Quite an unusual take on a Heron Will.! The dark primaries fooled me for a while. Maybe take a bit of USM around the head ? Good stuff whatever.

The visible eye gives the image something good about it. So does the hint of cloud. I have to admit this is not my favorite wing position and I do wish the subject had not already past you at time of capture.
