I was in the mood for posting an image for the theme and scrounged this one from my 2013 archives.

Hi Morkel, great low POV with excellent details and sharpness. Nice pose by the ele. The giraffes do add interest but wish the one on the right had not overlapped with the ele. But no deal breaker at all. Nice one.

Hi Morkel - These bunker shots always give you a nice low pov and this one is no exception. Nice detail and texture on the ele. The intersecting and partial giraffes are not ideal but show life at the waterhole. I'm not sure if it is because of the shadow but I feel like the head of the ele can be a little sharper.

The busy giraffe BG is offset by the lovely lighting and low POV here Morkel.
I do particularly like the contortionist rear giraffe entering the backside and emerging out the ele's back! :Whoa!:

I've always liked OOF elements if they lend contest or help tell a story.. Here they do! Well done!

Hi Mork, excellent low perspective from the bunker, and I like the detail on the Ele. I quite like the OOF Giraffe's, but wished the head above the ele's back was turned the other way - it would then seem to have belonged to the giraffe at the back.

Hi Morkel a nicely processed bunker shot which gives you an unbeatable low POV .
Glad you seem to get your haloing issue sorted out with your recent postings :c3:.I like the overall Etosha colors and tones you produced , great very fine detail extraction in the ellie .
The OOF Giraffes on RHS are not ideal for my taste ...... but nothing you could have done with them .

Aww Morkel, cute little ellie and great POV!
I imagine one must spend many hours at a place like this to get the "perfect" shot... after all, waterholes are such busy places.
My thoughts while viewing this were "wow, lots of traffic..." Love the fact that everyone is kind of moving into a different direction and although it might seem chaotic at first, this is what really appeals to me most - nice PP work and the colours are great, sharpness is there where needs be and overall an interesting image I enjoyed viewing, thank you Morkel!
Warmest regards,

Hi Morkel, having the bunker really does provide a great POV and a unique perspective on things. I think I would agree with Sanjeev about the RH giraffe disappearing into the rear of the Ele unfortunately. Love the overall colour palette, the trotting motion of the Ele calf and the swish of the tail.
