My wife and I went out looking for wildflowers on a rainy day last weekend. As I was driving around, I spotted this nice ranch property with flowering apple (?) trees. It looked like a painting to me, so I made it into one. Topaz Impression was used for the effect, and I had to add some grass from another image for the foreground in the right, as this was all dirt and didn't look so nice. :c3: I also cloned out a water tank and some utility poles on the ridge.

Another beauty of an image Kerry. I think I like this one just a little more than your last image. Maybe because the look of the valley reminds me of home. And that bright yellow tree just anchors the image for me. Nice!

Very nice! Lovely scene. Good work with Impressions. I think the changes you made in the scene make it work perfectly. A nice painterly look. Great composition.

Very nice, with a beautiful painting style! I wonder if you tried getting closer to the trees and lower, to hide the buildings. The row of trees and the one larger one are just gorgeous against that typical SoCal hillscape.
I'd crop some of the FG off, or try to add a little more variation to it.
The only apples I know of bloom white -- don't know what these might be, but I'd be tempted to check them out again in late summer!

Beautiful Kerry, I love the composition and colours. I am pretty sure crab apples bloom pink blossoms. Nice PP work.

The soft textures and color palette shouts spring. Your composition is great with ones eye following the orchard and curving road to the ranch and then climbing up the valley.
