Another dark image. Maybe my processing is being influenced by the darkness of winter.
I don't remember what leaves these were. I took it last year.
Various versions of Topaz Simplify.
I appreciate positive and negative comments.

Anita, I really like this! I like the way that Topaz Simplify helped produce an abstract image, and I love the variations on green and blue. Moreover the curvy line in the middle offsets the straight lines, creating an interesting composition. It doesn't seem too dark to me, with the possible exception of the lower right corner. I suppose you could try to dodge that part of the image.
Hi Anita, there is something about this one that is not quite working for me. I think it is the curled leaf in the middle which ends abruptly, and does not seem part of the cohesive whole. If it were mine I might crop a little off the bottom. Just my opinion though. It sure is great to see you trying new things! Keep it up!
Very nice Anita! Rather than lightening the dark corner it might look good to vignette the other 3, which would highlight the center and add interest to the overall presentation I think.
Thank you Judy, Wendy and Jackie. Here is a cropped, lightened, and saturated version. This is far from my favorite image, but, it was fun to play around.
I've been thinking about this one for a few days, must admit not my cup of tea, but as I've stated before I am not looking at it through your eyes. The lightened version for me. Anita I have created some of my favorite images by playing around. Keep experimenting
I like the organic subject and the undulating lines. I'm liking the original post but good suggestions above. Your experimentation is producing some nice images, don't stop!
