Something different!
Sycamores along Black Run near my house.
18-200mm at 125mm, handheld, f6.3, 1/250 sec., ISO 160.
I kept working on it until I got to something a liked: Topaz Adjust, Gaussian Blur on parts, 2 textures by Joel Olives, Viveza, added a copy of background processed in Topaz Simplify, CEP: Vignette Blur & Sunlight, Texture by Lenabem (flickr).
Beautiful. Has an almost "ghosty" effect, as my grandmother would say, especially that hanging low branch on the right tree. I would prefer the trunk of the left tree a little clearer. The dark trees on the top add more of an eery effect. This eery remark is not a negative, just the first thoughts I had....I can see this on the wall of the right room.
Good point about the trunk of the tree on the left. Here is a version with lighter left trunk. Is it enough? I appreciate your views--this is such a different type of photo for me that I don't quite know what to think of it. Thanks.Quote:

It would be interesting to have a try at cloning out the road -- it might be a reasonable task with the busy areas around it.

Good cloning! Leaving a suggestion is fine -- if I hadn't known the road was there I wouldn't "reconstruct" it from what is left.
After seeing the changes, I'm throwing my vote in for the most recent repost. Nicely done Anita. I don't think I would change anything, this image is a treat to look at and I enjoy wandering my eyes around it.

So interesting to see an image evolve here in the forum. Your original looks great but the incremental changes leading up to the last repost really made the image stronger. Very nice vision and it's great to see you taking the long view here.
