Hi Jean-Daniel! The bird is nice and sharp, but looks like it could use a saturation boost. I can't say that I care for the perch; my eye is drawn to the OOF main branch on the right. Thanks for posting!

Exposure, BG and pose look good. The image looks a bit noisy and the eye looks overflashed. The perch is not ideal, I would prefer it without the left end.

Just like Doug my eye is drawn to the thicker part of the branch at right. I would definitely darken the eye. Otherwise very nice, and good head turn by the swallow.

I don't mind the perch, esp. as the bird is so lovely with a perfect pose and head angle. Do darken the eye. Welcome!

Hi JD,
This is a very nice capture for sure. I think the perch is too dominant, especially because the bird's face is right in front of it.

Excellent pose and nice detail !
Agree about darkening the eye.
Size and shape of the perch doesn't bother me but I find the brightness
of the thick part on the right a bit distracting. Might try toning it down
a bit.

Hey JD nice to see you here :D
I am joining a bit late and all the comments I had are already made. If you could darken the eye you would indeed have a very lovely image. Perfect pose, good saturation, beautiful creamy background that complements this specie nicely. Good job!
Cheers,
Philippe.

Ok guys,
here is my trial to enhence this shot. I did darken the eye and mask a part of the branch on the right.
