Perfect for the threshold filter. I like the simple background and the head angle.
Very nice Terry, I like the threshold treatment. My only suggestion would be to lighten the eye so it stands out a little. Actually, I have another suggestion - I would clone out the vague, gray shapes in the lower third of the image. They don't add anything and distract the eye a bit.

I didn't have a chance to comment on this one before -- I love it! I'm wondering if I might darken the eye a little (but maybe not -- it's striking the way it is) and maybe trim the whiskers a little....
Zebras make terrific subjects for a graphic look and this is a great profile with the head slightly tilted towards the viewer and the nice erect, interested ears! I would also suggest making the eye a bit lighter.
