Morning Gull

Hi, Mitch, the water looks a little crunchy to me. I love the gull and the morning light but I'm not sure about the sun. It seems a little distorted and a little unnatural to me.

What about a horizontal presentation with the long narrow band of light stretching long from side to side and bounded by the darker water and low clouds? Cheryl has some good points.
