I spent the holidays at Cairngorm where I managed to capture this Crested Tit. Unfortunately the light conditions were poor, but it was a great couple of days :S3:
Thanks for having a look

William still looks as good on this site, neat little bird on a very nice b/g,looks like your couple of days were well worth it.
Cheers Keith.
William, you complain about the light but it shouldn't be about this moment, as the light seems perfect to me, just the way I like it. The head angle and the focus are also spot on. Great pic!
Thanks Tiago, My ISO setting was a bit high for my liking, to get the shutter speed I required for this quick little bird, but I think it turned out ok :S3:
Great result regardless of the light level - I think this is fantastic for the ISO. I'd normally say the head angle would be better either more straight or more side on, but on this occasion the 45 degree look has shown off the signature crest well
Nice work
Mike
I like the image William, Sharp eye and a beautiful background, Looks very clean for that ISO.
Good stuff indeed Will. Just a teeny bit more canvas on the bottom would be a bonust but no big deal. Might try and get up ther this year A friend is goingso I could maybe get a lift. Good NY by th way

Very nice. One of your better frames William. Nice pose, details, BG and colors. Ya, a better perch would have been nice, but.... Well done
Beautiful portrait, great details and eye contact, William.
Excellent image. Nice pose, beautiful color pallet , superb crest and composition.

I like the pose, eye contact, raised crest, composition and complimentary BG. I would never of guessed the ISO was that high. Excellent image William!
Very nice pose, good details, well exposed and a handsome bird. I like this!
Thanks for all the comments. I really appreciated them.
Cheers
