Good comp/color. Not sure what processing you used, but I see halos on my monitor especially around the heads. Nice way of saying you're "flying into the new year."
I like the colour palette and the room on the left. I like that you have gotten pretty good wing positions on most of the birds.
Lovely with the golden light coming through the wing feathers & the golden bkgd. Good composition of the 4 birds as they whistled past you. Check above the wing in the first bird, I think there are a few extra bits of feathers that look out of place.
I like the color palette and the symbolism, but I think it'd be good to have the edge of the sun either peeking above the horizon or somewhere low in the distance to explain the backlighting of the wings.
