This image was taken last year at St Augustine's Night of Lights and is of a Spanish Galion that was visiting along with another Spanish tall ship. We used this as our Christmas card this year, so I felt it would be fitting to say Merry Christmas to the many friends that I have made over the years here on the OOTB forum. I regret not having the time this year to share with you, but I have just finished my project, or about 90% finished to the point of opening the doors. I have put my work up on FineArtAmerica.com and now have time to go out and shoot more! :S3: It's been a long journey as there was a lot of work to get the images sorted and finished for display, all the text to go with them, etc. But once I got the hang of their system it started to work quicker. it's a lot easier than having a website that I have to manage and run. Now I just have to keep the images coming and find the buyers. :S3: But the main thing is to have a place to show it.
I chose this image for our card, as being form the northland, most of our friends expect to see snow. Well, that is not what we have now that we are in the land of the endless summer. So the next thing is to show the lights and I felt that the lights of the rigging and the bridge depicted the glow of the holidays as I remember them. Not all winters in Wisconsin were snowbound! Just too many for me to want to stay there when I didn't have to anymore.
So I hope you and yours have a Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy New Year!
Happy (and warm) Holidays to you, Mark. Hope to see more of you here!

Well done on this image with the emphasis on the lights and reflected lights. Checked out your new website. Great! And very easy and quickly to navigate. Hmmm....endless summer sounds pretty good right about now. A foot of fresh snow outside and still coming!
