I was trying the 100-400 M2/7D M2 for BIF.
It seems to work. (Removed part of an other duck from the front.)
Thanks for looking.

Karl:
I would say it worked pretty darn well. Excellent capture of this attractive bird, with enough bank to show the wings well, slight head turn, pleasant bg.
The red channel is in the 250 range on the head, but overall detail has held up well.
Well captured!

great flight capture of this male, we just saw our first one for this county, ever, a female. I am just getting used to my new 7D Mark II, nice to see its potential. good clean job on the cloning.
Nice job, beautiful species, and nice shot.
Great capture, Karl!
Great job Karl. I like the wing position and the BG colors. Love the split tail feathers. Just on the edge of cropping detail. Well done
Great flight shot. Good one Karl

Well done on a difficult subject to capture in flight!!!
.. nicely done Karl. Sharp as they come - the more I see of examples of the 7D2 and the new 100-400 the more I like this combo.
