Nice pose, light and splash. The pelican looks a bit oversharpened on my monitor.
Sharp indeed. With the bird angling towards you the merge of the bird and the splash is distracting. Perfect light angle.

Thanks for all of your comments, you're right it is over sharpened, I always struggle with this. I don't own CS3, I use Capture NX for all PP and I need to learn how to effectively sharpen my images with USM and other tools. Does this look any better or still too sharp?
