very cool Jim! these are the cutest owls ever!
Nice Jim. Great subject, exposure, sharpness where it counts, and background. And those penetrating eyes are very special.
Another good one, Jim. Eye contact doesn't get better than this, and great detail on the face.
What's not to like?
I would be over the moon to have this in my files and I would be doing the happy dance when I looked at it on the back of the camera!
Just a tiny housekeeping issue- there is a dust spot below the birds right wing about an inch under the alula

Another great Image Jim. I am really enjoying seeing your owl images.
I don't know where those tiny little owls hide that huge wing spread. A nice, complementary background, and sharp face and head. The slight tilt of the head to one side is a nice addition, and those beautiful yellow eyes! Would love to capture one like it!
The eyes have it Jim--you caught this little guy just right--and the BG colour was made to order.
Hi Jim, the Owl really pops in this, sharp where it counts, and love the inquisitive head turn.
Great BIF frame. Like the tone, light and bird position/moment. Focus is placed well on the head. TFS.
Cheers,
Miro
Great flight pose and super sharp where it counts!
Just another cracker shot, Jim. It's just simply amazing to see how sharp these BIF images can be and you just made me envious of your images. Loi
Great looking sharp frame Jim! Love those eyes and that sweet BG. What a fun evening that was as the owls were pretty active and the light was much better than your first visit. Well done BFAM
