You did a great job on this. Your point of view emphasizes the angles masterfully. The lighting and your processing are wonderful. The color gives it added life and appeal.
I understand your love of old machinery, and it really shows in what you've done, here. Among my acquaintances are a current and a retired employee of Babcock & Wilcox in the USA. I'll have to show this to them.
David, I am hoping you become a regular in this forum. Your first two images are impressive. The crisp detail and the gold, brown and blue color palette are wonderful.
Hi, David, another "powerful" image from you:S3: I really like the subject, the composition and the HDR effect. On my monitor I'm seeing a bit of purple chromatic aberration on the upper silver pipes.
Very well crafted with all the crisp details and warm glowing golds and blues. Those two strong diagonal lines of the massive pipes coming down from the top really draw you into the image. I had no idea old machines can make such interesting images, so full of interesting lines and textures. Well seen and composed.
Interesting array of warm and cool tones. The textures have been brought out wonderfully by Photomatix. Very strong composition.
Great HDR image on this subject, David. I like all the detail you captured and the depth you retained. Love machinery images!
just a great hdr image very well done
I love it--the image, not the machine. Excellent work. Outstanding composition, nicely framed by vertical lines left and right. Gorgeous colors. Great detail.
