Wonderful water and reflections. Nice colors. I like that the two front birds seem to be looking at each other. I''m having trouble finding a place to rest my eyes and find a focus point. Is there a way to create more separation between the two front birds and the rest?
The blues and oranges are a good color combination, and I agree with Anita about the water and reflections. I also like your explanation about the recharging overnight.
The drop-off in focus gives a good sense of depth. Anita makes a good point, I think, about visually separating the cranes in front from those in the rear. My inclination would be to leave the group of three in the left foreground and the one near the center the way they are and both darken and increase the blur behind them. When I played around with that, the foreground cranes became so much more visually important that I cropped some off the right side and bottom to further emphasize them.
Electric indeed! Love it!
Sandhills are just so **** photogenic. I love what effects you've used. Perfect on these birds, well done
out of the World. Incredible.
The liquid gold water and reflections are most pleasing. I too would like to see some separation between the two foreground cranes and the rest of the flock.
