This was taken at Timbavati private nature reserve, SA. Hand held. The angle was kinda steep but gave a good view of the undersurface as he just flew over head.

What a dramatic view! I love the detail both in the white feathers and in the shadow -- or at lest I assume I was lightened. The left side of the breast appears to have lost detail from being blown out, but sometimes whites can go beyond recovery. For me, it's a small point in a very strong image.
I wonder if the sky is a bit too intense? It would be interesting to compare a version with it lightened just a little. If it was darkened in processing, backing off that step would reduce any noise there. I see some JPEG compression artifacts in the sky which may be from noise.
neat shot, good sense of movement. Whites could use more detail, but like Diane said it might be clipped. Overall looks good.
beautiful capture of striking bird, I especially like the placement in the frame. Nice timing when he was so close with that lens!
Great capture. I think it's twig or the nesting material. As per my observation goes, Birds of Prey, always carry their prey in the talons and not in the beak. Experts, please correct me if I am wrong.
Under wing part is also nicely done.
Great image of BIF. I liked it.
