The new theme of GRAPHIC starts today. To my base image of the sandhill crane in flight I used Flaming Pear twist on the bkgd. I reduced the crane to a silhouette. Then according to my notes layers of Pixel Bender, topaz simplify oil paint III.

The colors, especially with the black silhouette of the crane, are very striking, and I like the opposing diagonals of the crane. The colors in the sky echoing the feathers takes it to a whole other level. Very nicely done.
Very nice Nancy, I agree with Dennis's comments above a striking graphic image. I may have cloned in the wing tips from the bottom wing to the top wing. Well done
I love this Nancy, it looks like a Inuit painting. (the eskimos who live in the far north in Canada). It looks very ritualistic to me and I love all the squiggly lines around the edge, giving a nice sense of motion. Well processed.
Thanks guys & gal! Paul that's a good idea about cloning the tip from the bottom wing to the top. I will try that.
