Hi gang, my apologies for being late with the results for this week's contest, I lost internet services due to modem failure.
There were some interesting entries for this weeks theme, the following came out on top:
Winner: Theme: Arrakis, the Dune planet by Kerry Perkins. This one stood out for it's abstract design quality and overall execution. Kerry used a bit of misdirection in his processing to represent a foreboding, arid environment even though the subject is quite the opposite. Well done!
2nd: Theme: Morning Dew by Michael Gerald-Yamasaki. By utilizing a very unique perspective and DOF control, Michael took something ordinary and turned into what seems to be an abstract of city lights. Very well done, congratulations!
3rd Theme: Pet frog by Hazel Grant. Hazel's strong sense of composition, design and processing are evident in this whimsical image of a pet frog in it's waterworld environment. Congratulations!
Keep those submissions coming, can't wait to see all the creative entries for next weeks theme!
