Busy upper BG and the face could use a bit more sharpening IMO, but I like the comp, low angle. The curled grasses are very interesting. The pose shows some attitude too. Title changed for you :-)
Lovely goose, perfect side profile, definitely looks proud and alert...I dig the erect neck feathers. Nice job leaving enough space on the bottom for the virtual feet. A foot lift or some leg seperation would elevate the success of the image. I agree that the upper part of the bg is visually competitive with your subject...
