The least Terns have nested in our area for many years , but have not done well in the past two or three years. This colony seems to have had some better luck as there are many second nesters here , with eggs and very small chicks. Many of the first nests have fledged and are well on their way to adult hood. Such a delicate and graceful species.

Touching image. The animation you captured on the chick is great! For visual balance, having a bit more space on the right hand side is worth considering. Shooting angle looks perfect, and I enjoy all the background variation.

A nice capture in the intimate moment between the adult and the young. Good low POV. I would consider crop out the top.

Very nice natural history shot. The pose and IQ of the chick are excellent.
Do you have a bit more room on the right? I think it would balance the image a bit and I would also take a bit off the top.
Would love to see if you can pull a bit more detail out of the blacks.
A fine, sweet image,
Gail
