Cracker shot Glenn - there is no doubt about what this guy is up to. Just the right amount of wing tip blur and the viewer's attention is grabbed by the bird's eye. Excellent background, a lot to like here. Well done. Cheers, Ian.

Love the dangling pose, BG and light. The one eye is very strong. I am seeing just a slight yellow cast.

Awesome in all regards. I agree with every compliment offered so far. Love the low angled late day afternoon light and subsequently how dialated that pupil is!
Excellent! Love the pose and the head angle showing it has interest in something out of the frame. Apologies if I am wrong, but did you work on the eye in post? I get the feeling the pupil is large for the amount of light hitting it...regradless, it does indeed look striking.

Daniel nothing was done to the eye. I have some images with two owlet side by side and they both have very different pupil sizes despite the same light?
Excellent pose and BG Glenn. lovely light too. sharp details. I also see a yellow cast, what do you use for RAW conversion?

have you tried Capture NX? I'm asking because I often see the color cast in your otherwise great photos.Quote:

Arash does this improve the color cast, It seems that my cameras images are are little on the warm side I lowered the temp a little. I will try NX Capture. Thanks for the advise.
