I had a walk along the sand dunes at St Andrews again this morning where I captured this stonechat.

Good looking bird with nice pose and soft light. Also is using an interesting perch and love the habitat feel in this image.

I really love the perch and background, but I would remove the diagonal line in upper right corner. Cute bird with a good alert pose. Too bad it did not turn its head a couple more degrees towards us.

Lovely background William and great perch, light and IQ. If it was mine I may be tempted to add a bit more vibrancy to the stonechat himself (as in south africa I have often found these to be a bit brighter in plumage, specifically the orange). TFS

Lovely perch and nice background. Along with the vibrancy perhaps a wee bit more contrast?

Very nice indeed, usually they are more squat in their pose so this makes it just a little more interesting. excellent exposure and details. I agree regards the stem top right - it fights all the others.

Good pose and a great perch. The background is superb. I can easily live with the diagonals.
