This shot was taken at last year's International Photo Walk in Gainesville Florida. She is the granddaughter of the walk leader and she brought her camera along. I had my hair spray lens on at the time - this is on the steps of the Hippodrome Theatre. I desaturated in PS CC.:S3:
Not sure how I feel about this photo. I like that you left the girl with some slight color. But I wish I could see more of her to know what she is doing.
Ah, Anita, that's a mystery:S3: Birdwatching? Taking a photo? Getting the last drop out of a bottle of water? I love her hair - it hides what she's doing.
I think she's putting on a hairband of some sort, or maybe a clip? Who knows? I like the combined practical and digital effects, nice tones and diffusion.
This image has a strong Avante Garde abstract appeal-not knowing exactly what's going on keeps the viewer interested with the processing adding a timeless feel.
Love the glow and the desaturation Cheryl. The more you look at it, the more I wonder what she is doing. Great street shot.
