Theme: C Square Farm

This is a horse farm near our house. I took the photo on an overcast day, desaturated it using Topaz Adjust Sketch, repeated TA Sketch and did more desaturation. I used Transform >Skew to alter the perspective a bit. I then added textures:

Amazing difference. Looks like a fabric print. Only comment would be I'd wish the fence in lower part were a bit more visible. I had to look twice to see what it was. Maybe darken it a little bit with paintbrush? Still, love the photo and the change! Great vision.

Thanks, Hazel. The fence is a problem. My attempts to darken it didn't look good. Maybe I could try again, or, I might clone it out.

Anita, what a transformation! It now looks like an old painting circa Currier and Ives (or earlier - maybe Primitive Art). I tried a quick fix on the fence - dup layer with Unsharp Mask for contrast (Amt. 45, Radius 20) then brushed out everything but the fence.

Very nice Anita! I love those country scenes you are doing. Great choice of textures. I like how Cheryl brought out the fence.

I was unable to replicate what Cheryl did. Here is a version with the fence darkened. Is this better? Too dark?

Hi Anita, I love this image and treatment and your final repost gets it just right for me. Nice job! Reminds me so much of a painting you would see hanging on the wall in a very old house.
