I like the sharp details and view of the feet, good HA. image is a bit dark as posted. A bit more dynamic pose will add more interest

Details and colours look good. I agree the subject seems a bit dark - raising the midtones would likely work well.
Good one, Rob. Love the quacking pose. Great detail, especially in the feet.
I like it and I like the open bill. The mid-tones look fine from here. For the repost I ran a 2% layer of NIK Tonal Contrast/Detail Extractor (on the bird and the seaweed only) and sharpened and lightened the dark feathers of the face and head.
This is really really nice.
Love the open bill and low POV. The rocky perch with seaweed is great.
The overcast light really allowed you to show the detail in the whites and blacks.
No nits from me at all.
Gail
Wonderful calling pose, Rob. Sharp as a tack.

Lovely image and Artie's repost seem to bring out more tones in the colour. I didn't notice the open beak at first but now don't know how I missed it.
Excellent image of beautiful bird with open beak. Nice rocky perch, composition, beautiful colours, low POV and composition.
Re post by Arthur Sir looks brilliant.

Satish.
Excellent shot, Artie's repost improved it even further. Great work.
Thanks artie for the repost and thanks to all for your kind words.
I reworked the image of the Harlequin as best as I could to match arties repost. Thanks again artie for taking the time!
