Another spectacular owl flight image....they are cooperating nicely! I love the water drops on this one and the way the entire bird (even the wing tips) looks sharp.
Great Image Jim. Love the pose and the water droplets. The OOF tree give me a sense of its environment.
What an interesting photo, Jim. Was the stick part of nest building or repair? I really like the falling droplets and opn beak.
Hi! This is great composition and the drops of water makes it really different. I wonder what it was doing its too late for nest building isn't it?
Great shot!
This is a fantastic image Jim!
Love those water droplets and the separation between the bird and BG! Wow, I have never seen a large owl during the daytime, it must be quite a sighting!
very cool Jim, love the open beak, the stick and the nice colorful BG. I might decrease the sat. a tad.
I really like this image for the moment captured ..
Cracking shot - the action that comes from the open beak, the water droplets and the overall pose add to what was already a very good shot
You've been getting some really nice habitat backgrounds with this species! Looks great overall, nicely composed.
Another beauty, Jim. I particularly like the way the owl is placed in the relatively plain part of the bg, with the vegetation on right and bottom giving some nice habitat. And the water drops from the stick. Plus everything else.
Hey Jim,
Is that the one that I fanned on ? :(
Thanks Jim. Rub it in! :w3
See you this afternoon.
