Crested Guineafowl & tiny feather

Crested guineafowl are exceptionally beautiful but not ones for standing still. A combination of rainy weather and some luck allowed me to spend a good half an hour with a flock of them recently. This particular bird took interest in a small feather dropped earlier by one of colleagues. I liked it....

Richard I like the clarity of the bird especially the head tufts and that great looking red eye,would like to see it cropped a little tighter, just my take of course, it's a fine looking bird making a very nice image.

Great looking bird and a nice job capturing it. Love the feather pattern on this guy? and the crest and head look sharp and colorful. I agree with Keith about cropping a bit tighter, at least off the top. Nice work Richard.

Richard, The bird is very sharp and well exposed. I don't mind the crop but can see how taking some off the top would give a cleaner image.

Nice, clear shot - look like it's wondering if it would be possible to stick the feather onto its own body! I love how the blur gradially increases to the back. I'd crop a little off the right & top.

what a handsome bird, nice pose too. I like the feather on the ground he's looking at! agree with tighter crop and would also try to get more detail in neck's blacks
