This is my neighbor's dog and he is one of those dogs who ALWAYS wants you to throw a stick! My dog thinks he is crazy. I had a super wide zoom on my camera that day for wide scenic images with the new snow. But the dog was more fun :bg3:!
Topaz buz sim and a little fractalius.

"My dog thinks he is crazy." LOL! I love this. As you probably know, I do a lot of dog photography and I love this capture of the craziness. :c3: Is that another dog next to you in the reflection?

Hi, Nancy - the border collie "stare". My sister has always had border collies and I think they're crazy:S3: Perfect perspective!

This image has brought a huge smile to my face. I can feel the dog's excitement and anticipation. Excellent photo and processing. I wouldn't change a thing.

Thanks all! Kerry, It could be my dog next to me.
This border collie is well trained and when you tell him to go home, he does exactly that.

Love that look of excited anticipation! The processing really enhances the fur, making it seem soft and flowing. Tempted to crop it a little tighter-top and both sides, just enough to remove the horizontal line created by the ears as a personal preference. This is something I'd enjoy having a copy of if it were my little buddy!

Nancy,
Greetings. That's great! Made me smile. We have a standard poodle that has something like that stare but not like a border collie. I should try to capture it some time. Thanks for posting.
Cheers,
-Michael-

Thanks everyone!
This is something I'd enjoy having a copy of if it were my little buddy! Randall, this is funny but I have never seen the real owners. I understand they are quite elderly & don't go outside. Their dog has adopted about half a dozen homes clustered together nearby and is more of a community dog. I have known the dog for years and often find him as I walk my dog in that particular area. I like this casual situation and am glad to live where this is ok. But I am very glad this is a "good" dog and not an aggressive one.
