Let me be the first to congratulate you on your new camera. The image quality of this post is great and I look forward to many more. I love the colors and the way that the bird is perched on the slippery looking rock. I think that the composition could be strengthened with less on the left and more on the right. Perhaps a bit more sharpening on the head? (I lost my reading glasses, so don't rely on this comment!)

I think I would agree with Grace re- positioning in the frame.

Thanks guys, I couldn't move the frame, that is a steep wall to the right, and I couldnt get into a better position or I would have fell 20 feet into the harbour :e3
Great looking bird, and the rocks look very good too. I love the wet look to those rocks. Since you could not get anymore space at right I think just cropping some off the left would be a good alternative here (to about in between your first and last names).
