I think I posted an earlier version of this a while back but have re-worked it a bit, increasing the blue (cold) and adding some topaz details. My grandson spent the night and woke up to a dreamy snowy world outside.

I like the silhouette. At first, I thought I might like to see a bit of detail on the inside, but no. It's better to have it black, too, and leave questions unanswered. The perspective is good, too. Bonus points for creativity on this one.
Nice implementation of the theme Hazel! I like the view through the door. The red birdhouse is a nice touch!
Hi, Hazel, I like the silhouette with all the detail looking out. Looks like you've got a nice bird set-up in your backyard.:S3:
Very nicely thought out image, I remember those days when I was young and couldn't go out because of the cold and snow...and in those days we only had 2 channels here...one English and one French.
The red on the feeders adds just a bit of color. blue makes it look cold..Well done
Interesting thought provoking take on the theme, made me smile! Gorgeous moment captured for sure.
Love the framing and I like photographing people from behind. The image become much more thoughtful IMO. I might clone out the little line on the left edge of the door/wall. I agree, very creative.
I like it. I like that the window frame is at a diagonal. The bright colors of outdoors contrast nicely with the black, and the boy's silhouette. I agree with Jackie about cloning the white line. There is also a white dot on the right side. Good choice for the theme.
