Very nice moment capture, I like the effect you've applied. If you had enough canvas I might have moved the heron a bit to the right, making the female a bit more centered or cropped it a bit but that just my opinion. Thank You for sharing.
It certainly was a nice capture, and an image with a bird bringing nesting materials always appeals to me.
Nice sharpness and exposure, and a nice texture/painting effect. I really like how "the wife" is popping up through the hole in the foliage.
I love the position of the herons, especially the one flying in. Beautiful details! Great colors. Nice composition. I think you could crop from right and bottom, but, fine as is.
Great interaction! Using a 180mm on FF you must have been quite close. Not easy...
I like this one very much, all around great. Was not fond of the other one, but couldn't pick out why, I think the foliage was distracting. This one the foliage is broken nicely by the Female. Great Capture!!!
