I'm having fun with wild colors. :-)
I took this photo with my 50mm lens. These are dead Goldenrods in our meadow.
In the RAW conversion, I pushed the colors towards lavender.
I brought out details with Topaz Detail. I used basic adjustments--contrast, saturation, etc. I cloned and painted a bit.
I added two textures, one pinkish and one lavernderish.
I used Color Efex Pro: Skylight, White Neutralizer, Darken/Lighten Center, Tonal Contrast.
I had fun.
I welcome all comments.
Haven't had a lot of time to keep up here in the last few days, but have to take a minute to say how much I love this!! Color, tonalities, composition -- just lovely!

Thanks, Dennis. The change in focus from the top to the bottom of the plant is due to using f1.8 aperture. I'm learning to use this shallow dof. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. :-)Quote:
