What would you think about toning down the perch?

Very nice added texture effects here! I believe you used oil paint in CS6, however it is nice to know for sure how one adjusted their image. It gives the rest of us ideas and inspiration! Love that eye! Do you want us to add this to the weekly theme? (Right now you have to type in "weekly theme" as you discovered the drop down does not work.) Great pose and composition. I think Diane made a good suggestion toning down the perch.

I like the textured bg. Good detail in the region of the eyes. Agree with toning down the perch.
