Stuart, is this oil paint from PS? I love the swirls in the bright blues of the abdomen and eyes, and the tiny bright lines adding depth to the wings. Great pose & nice clean perch, with nice mottled dark bkgd. This painted damsel took very well to OOTB techniques!
Great effects, Stuart. Just enough texture, and I agree with Nancy about the eyes and abdomen.
Very nice! You almost had me -- at first I thought this was a new kind of dragonfly for me, then I put on my reading glasses. The light round area in the UR draws my attention -- it would be easy to blur out or burn down.
Funky treatment Stuart. The subtle use of OP is well controlled. The lens flare doesn't bother me too much as the BG gradation goes form dark to light.
Hi, Stuart, I like the subtle use of OP. I think I would remove the out of focus blob on the underneath side of the stem behind the legs of the dragonfly.
