Well I reworked the image and cropped in tighter to eliminated the leaf in the LRC. Duotoned and then added a texture from Joel Eaves. Numerous tweaks using Photokit, which is a great program for subtle effects on your images. I have had it for years. but not many people seem to use it. Hope this is an improvement!

Jackie,
Greetings. This one works a lot better for me. Very beautiful! I like the soft colors and delicate feel of the image. The white petals provide a nice contrast and frame the intricate detail of the internal parts. There is a bit of a contrast line in the bg between the left most flowers on the two stems you might consider smoothing (it runs near vertical and doesn't appear in the previous version). Perhaps, it's odd but I particularly like the large bud. Thanks for posting.
Cheers,
-Michael-

Jackie, this one is lovely. I love the toning and I like this crop better. I'll have to check out Photokit - I'm not familiar with it. I like the subtle texture also.:S3:

I really like this one! Soft colors with a nice hue and the petals stand out from the background. Nice curves in the stems.

This is elegant with the soft colors and delicate details! You tweaked it beautifully. I can get lost in the intricate beauty and symmetry of each blossom and totally marvel at nature's handiwork, through your creativity.
