Night Stalker

This image already had a lot of light and shadows, with the lion emerging from the bushes at dusk. I changed to B&W, then used Topaz Restyle/Night
to add more contrast. I cloned out most of the little distracting grass bits in the background. Thanks for looking.

Very nice Cindy! I like the way the light falls on the lion's head. It might be nice to see the dark parts of him just a little brighter.

Love the contrast in this one Cindy, some good thoughts already made above. I think I would take a look at removing some of the grass in front of the cat.

Thanks for the comments, Judy, Paul, and Kerry. I debated about removing more of the grass, but decided to leave it and see what others had to say. The lion was really in the shadows in the original, Judy, so I didn't work to add any light there. It would certainly be worth experimenting.

Very nice. He looks a lot like I feel: old and tired :). Too many photo trips! The B&W treatment is superb--it looks like an etching.

Nice chiaroscuro Cindy. I might crop in tighter form the top and right. Great details in the fur. I like the grasses.
