Now for something a bit different. A bit minimalistic, wouldn't you say? Comments and critique welcomed. Regards~Bill

Great composition and subject, Bill! I love the lines, and I think the B&W minimalist is the perfect effect. I might like a little more room to the left of the dragonfly, but I'm not sure. Well done!

I like what you're trying to do here, Bill, but I think the dragonfly is too close to the edge. I would add a bit more canvas to the left and top. Other than that, I love it. The B&W, minimalist look is perfect, and I like the lines of the reed pointing to the dragonfly.

Nice on Bill, I really like the total effect of the minimalist approach. Good suggestions I think regarding a little room on the left. I appreciate minimalist images, both natural and created. I've always called it "elegant simplicity". :c3:

Excellent work. Love the look. Simple. Strong graphic design. As you add a bit more canvas to the left (though it doesn't bother me), you might clone out the darkish area bottom left corner. This is a creative image that is quite successful.

I wouldn't have thought of converting a dragonfly image to b & w but it really works well! I might try that on some of mine with no real detail in the background. Excellent composition, it landed in the perfect place! I would also like to see a little more canvas added on the left.

Another vote for canvas Bill, but really like the tension of the DF on the perch with the grass at the end. Reminds me of a child on a see-saw.
