Theme: My Attempt at Scratch Art
I have tried all week to come up with something that would look like scratch art, I have tried bears, gorillas, chimps, mandrills, groundhogs...etc.
Nothing seemed to work. They all looked great large size but the moment I reduced them for BPN, they lost their pizazz.
Here is an image that works, or at least I think so.
It is an image of a Bull Muskox taken in Alaska on a recent trip, they are gentle but fiercely guard their young. They shouldn't be approached and only photographed from a safe distance.
They can run faster than humans.
I used Topaz to create a line drawing, then inverted it to make the background black and the lines white. Then added selected colors from the original, including the eyes.
Off to bed now, must be up and be ready at 5am, off to Presqu'ile Park for migrants
