I would be tempted to remove the tiny top of tree on far left.
The image encourages one to study it for a bit, which is a good thing!

That's different for sure. Great colour to the sky. Good interaction between the gulls. I do find them a little too blue though, I'd neutralize the cast on them.

I love the sunset color! I actually like the blue color of the gulls, because it creates a contrasting color harmony. It makes them stand out from the purple. Were they more white, they would seem less visible to me. I agree lower left out of focus tree could be cloned away though.
