From the Ali Farm this past weekend. Had more of these in breeding plumage than at any other time I can remember. Still just as hard to find in the open.

I like it...very "in-your-face". I like the groove running down the neck, very cool! The eye seems softer than the area between the nostril and the eye?

Great open mouth pose. I agree the eye looks just a tad softer than the area just in front, but not so much as to detract.
Cool pose and love those breeding colors, Alfred. Great detail in the whites. I'm thinking I'd like to see just a bit more room on the right to fit in all of the head, but also like it as presented.

Oh, you got the one with the broken bill, there were two with the best colors and this one was one. Great expression!!
Oh yeah!!!! I love the expression in the face and the soft light. Wonderfull skin tones. Would love to see the bill tip in focus but is a minor detail. Al I really like this one a lot!
