Here is another owl, a really tiny one just about 12 cm high.
I did not realize, how small this bird is, since I saw this one!

What a precious little owl. Terrific setup with an excellent green BG. He's pretty cute all fluffed up. Hope you got some of him just sitting still.
Of course I have got one with the owl just sitting still: here it is. :D
Hope you don't mind me posting a second one in the same thread; it's just because Lana asks for it ;)
I like the fluffy one more, because it is a bit special, but it took a while to decide, which one I am going to post here.
What do you think?

Perfect!!! I like them both.....glad that you have both as well. Thanks.
Both images are very good, Rosl. Well composed with an excellent background. I just with the light was a bit softer.
It seems to be time of owls......Perhaps the spring. Nice capture , good BG, good sharpening. I suppose you got iy in Germany. Greetings from Italy!
very nice Rosl. I like both.
The intense bg color really brings out the eyes
What 1.7tc are you using with the Canon?
I use a TC from Soligor (not known in the States, as far as I know).
What I really love, is that I can use all the focus points.... and the quality is fine.
