These fast-moving little birds resemble (but are not related to) the nuthatches in the northern hemisphere.
They climb like acrobats up and around branches in perpetual motion, gleaning insects.
Just a bit better head angle would have put this over the top...but what a fantastic image. The vertical comp works quite well despite the horizontal posture of the subject. Neat perch and beautiful BG.
